CleanWhale operates as an intermediary platform (marketplace) that connects you with independent Contractors providing cleaning and other services.
CleanWhale issues you a VAT invoice only for the Order Handling Fee — our remuneration for intermediary services: selecting and verifying the Contractor, coordination, and handling documents and payments.
The service is provided and documented directly by the Contractor, who issues you a separate document for its full value: a VAT invoice if the Contractor is an active VAT payer (VAT deductible on your side), or an invoice without VAT or a bill if the Contractor is exempt (a tax-deductible cost, without VAT deduction).
You therefore receive two documents per order, and both are tax-deductible costs. Your final price and payment method stay the same.
How we calculate VAT
CleanWhale charges VAT only on its own remuneration, not on the value of the service — the seller of the service is the Contractor, not CleanWhale. Our invoice: the Order Handling Fee plus 23% VAT, fully deductible on your side. The Contractor's invoice: VAT depends solely on their status. There is no double taxation — VAT appears at most once on each side.

Is your window difficult to close, does the handle stick, or can you feel a draught around the seal? Choose the relevant window service from the catalogue and describe the problem before the visit. The work needed depends on the window, its fittings and the condition of its parts.
Adjustment or inspection may be needed if the sash rubs against the frame, one corner does not close properly, the handle is difficult to turn, or air comes through around the seals. Describe which windows are affected and how the problem appears.
Tell the specialist whether the window is uPVC, wooden or aluminium, and whether the problem concerns a window sash or a balcony door. If you know the manufacturer or fitting type, include that information in the order comment.
The catalogue lists the available operations, including window and balcony-door adjustment, seal replacement and work on fittings. Select the items that match your needs and check the unit used for each price. Adjustment, replacement parts and other repairs are separate tasks unless the selected item expressly includes them.
If the cause of the problem is unclear, describe the symptoms rather than assuming that a particular part needs replacing. The specialist needs to assess the window before confirming the appropriate repair.
Check the price and unit beside each catalogue item and review the order summary. The number of sashes, door type and required parts affect the scope. Confirm whether materials and replacement parts are included before the work starts.
For faults outside the listed operations, agree the scope with the specialist in advance. Do not assume that a window can be repaired without an assessment of its condition.
Select the required services, choose a date and complete your contact and address details. Use the comment field to explain the fault, the number of affected windows and any access requirements. Check the selected work and order summary before submitting.
Select the relevant item and review the minimum order and total shown in the summary. Describe the window and the problem in your comment.
The cause may involve the adjustment, fittings or condition of the seals. The required work should follow an assessment of the window.
Window servicing concerns adjustment and repairs. If you also need window cleaning, choose that service separately and confirm the scope of each order.
